The Electric Gardens 2 At Glasgow Botanic Gardens
The nights may very well be drawing in but there’s only one area of Glasgow that’s brighter than ever!
With the huge success of The Electric Gardens 1 last winter (2014), the guys behind Glasgow’s West End festival brings you the Electric Gardens II: Lux Botanicumevent.
Glasgow's Botanic Gardens will be transformed using light and sound which is set to mesmerise people of all ages. This unique sensory experience will encourage families and adults to walk through the darkened upper Botanic Gardens with dramatic lighting, sound effects and music and look at the iconic Gardens in a different light.
This year’s theme, Lux Botanicum, highlights the natural features of the gardens, in particular the rarer trees and animals that live there.
The magnificent Kibble Palace will once again be open throughout the event and there will be a fire theatre with live performers every night. Food and drinks available to buy on the night.
The Electric Gardens 2 will start on Friday 13 November and run from 5.30pm to 9pm Wednesday to Sunday with entry slots every 15 minutes from 5.30pm to 8pm, when the last admission takes place. Ticket holders may stay as long as they wish.
